Our client, a leading art consultancy based in London, is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join their team on a nine-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the purchasing process, including assisting with the preparation of detailed order specifications, compiling and managing purchase documents, issuing invoices, and following up on payments. They will also liaise with external contractors to ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in purchasing bespoke design items and will demonstrate a high standard of numeracy, strong multi-tasking abilities, and excellent problem-solving skills.
