About the Role:
We are looking for a Researcher Assistant to join the Head of Research. This role requires a dynamic, highly organised and skilled individual with a passion for contemporary art and an understanding of analytics, reporting and communications.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
– Provide administrative support to senior staff.
– Extract, format and simplify quantitative data for both internal reporting and external art market analysis.
– Support in the internal communications regarding the presentation, editing and publication process of investment-related marketing materials.
– Prepare one-page summaries on third-party reports, auction results and art fair highlights.
– Provide specific research and analysis when required to support client enquiries or marketing projects.
Required skills and experience:
– High degree of computer literacy, especially of Microsoft Excel.
– Excellent writing skills; experience in writing about the art market is highly advantageous.
– Good knowledge of the art market with an understanding of the commercial needs of galleries, artists and collectors.
– Confident and able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
– Detail-oriented person.
– Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages highly desirable).
– Ability to focus intelligently on tasks with strong attention to detail.
– Must be able to live and work in the UK.
