Gallery seeks a Sales Associate to join its London team. The position is based in London. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 to 5 years’ of sales experience in the art sector. The candidate will have good knowledge of the art market.
1. Responsibilities:
• Be the key point person in the Gallery for the public open days, engaging with customers and guiding them through the exhibitions
• Focus on selling also through proactive lead generation – identifying prospective clients through networking, sales tools, events, etc
• Developing innovative sales strategies to achieve targets
• Ensure smooth running of the gallery from a Sales perspective, working with Gallery Manager for general inventory of works etc.
• Sourcing art works for the gallery through own connections and contacts

Salary: Base £30,000 per annum. Commission up to 10% of net profit
