Position Overview
Weng Contemporary is seeking a dynamic freelancer sales professional to join our team on a hybrid
basis. If you have a strong passion for high-end limited editions and contemporary art, a proven track
record in art sales, and a robust network of collectors and art market contacts, we would love to hear
from you.
As Senior Art Advisor you will provide tailored advice on purchasing artworks, ensuring alignment with
clients’ aesthetic, financial, and cultural goals. You will act as a sales representative of Weng
Contemporary and thus maintain a professional image while maintaining the company’s core values
and cultural identity when interacting with clients and while attending sales opportunity events.

Key Responsibilities
● Support overall sales growth and strategic initiatives (B2B and B2C)
● Focus on the American/Anglo-Saxon market and/or DACH, while maintaining a keen eye on
the development on the overall global development of the art market
● Keeping up-to-date with trends, auctions, exhibitions, and developments within the art world
to offer clients timely insights
● Providing guidance on the financial aspects of art acquisition, helping clients build portfolios
with the potential for future financial growth
● Providing expert advice on purchasing and managing art collections, ensuring that decisions
align with the client’s goals whether there are aesthetic, financial, or cultural

Skills & Requirements
● Experience: 5+ years in a senior role within the high-end edition business sales department
(marketplace, distributor or auction house)
● Profound knowledge and strong passion for the contemporary art market
● A well-established network of art collectors and institutional relationships
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
● Self-driven in identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities
● Fluent in English, other languages are desirable
