Job Description
June is seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to join our team as a VIP Desk Assistant/ Greeter between June 16th and June 22nd, 2025. The VIP Desk Assistant/ Greeter will aid in welcoming visitors to the fair and directing guests to presentations and events. The VIP Desk Assistant/Greeter will enjoy insider access to June’s presentations and events, as well as reciprocal fair and museum access provided for June’s team. June Art Fair will additionally provide meals and transportation.
This role has the potential to become a part-time permanent role with flexible hours, should potential candidates be interested and suitable.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting visitors
- Scanning ticket reservations and creating in-person ticket reservations as needed
- Aiding in the collection of visitor information and attendance figures
- Assisting with the care of gallery spaces
- Directing visitors to presentations, events, or further information
Ideal candidates will possess a professional and warm demeanor, strong communication skills in English, and a collaborative, community-oriented disposition. This position may be of particular interest to art, art history, or arts administration students interested in learning more about independent, alternative art fairs.
