Perennial art world interloper Kanye West has tapped Italian performance artist Vanessa Beecroft–with whom he’s collaborated before–to participate in a fashion-show-cum-listening-party during New York Fashion Week. The pair is pretty a match made in controversial-yet-aesthetically-pleasing heaven: her work has been called “Hooters for intellectuals” by skeptical critics, and he has managed to rub everyone from Taylor Swift to Jimmy Kimmel the wrong way throughout his illustrious career.
