Karl Lagerfeld always steals the show at Paris Fashion Week—this year, he brought Pamela Anderson to a beach-themed runway show. Now, the fashion designer turns to the art gallery to show off his latest designer furniture.
Karl Lagerfeld is showing his latest pieces of collectible marble in a solo show, Architectures, opening at the Carpenters Workshop Gallery in Paris on October 19.
Expect to see marble-made fountains, tables, lamps and just plain old beautiful slabs.
As designboom points out: “Arabescato Fantastico is a rare white stone with dark grey veins; black nero marquina features brush stroke-like, white veins, the marble is precisely cut, sculpted, faceted and polished in Italy,” which “exemplify Lagerfeld’s monochromatic style.”
