Tony-award winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon’s new ballet at the Royal Opera House in London is called Corybantic Games. But even more intriguing are the new outfits, designed by Erdem Moralıoğlu, the Canadian-Turkish fashion designer who is famed for dressing Kate Middleton and Alexa Chung. The new costumes are a bit saucy; they have long, black ribbons hanging from champagne-colored silk bodysuits. “I love the idea of examining the time when the piece of music was created (the 1950s) and combining that with something very Grecian,” Moralıoğlu tells VOGUE. “The lines are very bold; it’s almost like I’ve drawn over the body with a marker.”
