If you think the art world is not playful enough, look no further. New York artist Keiko Nabila Yamazaki is bringing back the fun just in time for summer. From bumble bees to butterflies and cartoonish characters, her digital and painted artworks range from patterned boobs on tote bags, to stickers, silk scarves and earrings (but her ‘dancing sausage‘ scarf is the best). All this and more will be showcased at the Bust Craftacular fair in Brooklyn on May 12, as well as the Artist & Fleas fair in Williamsburg on May 19-20. Even in these digital times, zines, handcrafted things and art prints are more alive than ever.
