The UK begins to come out of lockdown from Monday, and we have just spotted the perfect outfit to wear back into the big bad world! The iconic Londoner Mr. Kim Jones – aka Mr Dior – has just collaborated with Converse to release footwear inspired by London culture, art and streetwear of the late ‘90s.
“The design approach for the shoe was very straight forward — taking a very classic shoe and then almost encasing it in something to protect it,” says Jones on the Converse Instagram page, “There’s an easy look to each of the pieces.”
The collaboration was photographed by none other than Juergen Teller and has the iconic Chuck 70 at the center. The head-to-toe collection experiments with classic lines through footwear, jackets, pants, sweatshirts and T-shirts and is available online from April 8.
