Zombie Boy, also known as Rick Genest, the famed model with face tattoos who rose to fame in 2011 when appearing in Lady Gaga’s music video for Born This Way.
After the Montreal-based artist and model’s accidental death last week, London artist Marc Quinn will show a sculpture of Zombie Boy at the Science Museum in London.
The sculpture, which is entitled “Self-Conscious Gene,” will be a bronze piece in the new Medicine galleries, which will open next fall. As Quinn says: “What I love about Rick is that his body is at the crossroads of popular street culture, deep philosophical meaning, and medicine.”
