"The Last Bohemians" celebrate British women ruling the cultural scene
Podcast profiles the female debonair disruptors of the 60s, 70s and 80s
Entertainment 22 Apr 2019

In response to the predominantly male-dominated list of cultural icons from the 60s, 70s and 80s, London-based journalist Kate Hutchison has launched The Last Bohemians to celebrate the British women who also ran the scene.

The women featured – which include Molly Parkin, Bonnie Greer, Pauline Black, Amanda Fielding, Cosey Fanni Tutti and Pamela Des Barres – have written erotic novels, campaigned for the medical benefits of recreational drugs, and partied in all of London’s most debauched places during a time where women were not expected to do so.

Produced by an all-female team, and with stories of late-night escapades, protests and other thrills, the podcast shines a light on women who have been fearless, maverick and controversial.

You can listen to The Last Bohemians on Audioboom, iTunes and Spotify
