Through collaboration with calligraphy artist eL Seed, MAC Cosmetics invites both art and beauty fans to paint their worlds with a hot-pink new collection. The line is inspired by the artist’s distinctive street art – which has seen him paint larger-than-life Arabic calligraphy on buildings across the world. The pink-orange colours palette splashed across the lipsticks and eye shadows reflect the warm climate of the Middle East, while the brushes were inspired by the artist’s own painting brushes.

The make-up line is presented in bright packaging, with eL Seed proclaiming on Instagram: Pink is back and it’s the new black. The make-up’s containers are each covered in the artist’s signature calligraphic swirls, which have been taken from a quote by Cicero: The face is a picture of the mind with the eyes as its interpreter.
Having first launched exclusively in the Middle East on 20th March, the 10-piece limited-edition collection is now hitting shelves across the world.
