The latest auction house blockbuster event is happening live at this very moment.
Sotheby’s New York is hosting an online-only sale of one man’s private collection of Supreme skate decks.
Set of Supreme Skateboards by Richard Prince (2006)Over the past 25-years, Supreme has made a name for itself as an exclusive, high-end streetwear atelier. The New York-based brand has elevated its prestige through countless collaborations with creatives: Richard Prince, Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman, and Nicolas Ghesquière (Louis Vuitton), to name a few. It’s even made a MetroCard for the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Through all the hustle Supreme has conjured a cult following of loyal patrons. Skaters and posers alike will sacrifice almost anything to get their hands on the company’s limited edition merch.Sotheby’s has raised the $takes. 20 Years of Supreme is the world’s first ever auction of every single Supreme skateboard deck released to the public with a starting bid of $500,000. Ryan Fuller, a Los Angeles-based, skate enthusiast, is selling his archive of the 248 originals.
Fuller’s collection – estimated to be worth $800,000 to $1,000,000 – will sell on January 25th via an eBay-esque bidding process.

The biggest drop in history.
