Every year, the artiest tattooers flock to Paris for the Mondial du Tatouage tattoo convention to show off some of their best work.
This year, the top highlights were comics-infused tattoos, which took center stage. A few included the neotraditional tattoos of Vivian Calvo, who has inked everything from Disney characters to comic strips and even Super Mario.
We also couldn’t help but miss Danny Boy aka Daniel Sawyer, who owns Sawyer Family Tattooing in Amsterdam, who was inking traditional tattoos with a contemporary spin.

There was also stunning drawings by Rocky Zero from Nantes, who inked his graphic pieces onto fans, as well as the fun, abstract works by Pablo and Giulia from Tattoo LifeStyle in Italy.
Lots of new talents to see! We can’t wait until next year.
