KAWS has teamed up with designer Mira Mikati for a series of limited edition bombers. The Spring/Summer 2016, which Mikati is working on, resorts to a composition of print, intricate embroidery, and appliqué, displaying the idiosyncratic artwork of KAWS.
The Lebanese-based fashion designer, who told Vogue that she is “obsessed with KAWS’ mega sculptures”, initially runs her own brand in 2014 and now collaborating with KAWS for the colorful varsity jackets. The Mikati and multicolored “Kaws”-graphic pop-tastic jacket has created a vibrantly intriguing statement with stimulating graphic prints by the Brooklyn street artist, blatantly encompassing the playfulness of KAWS – that’s a distinctive masterpiece of art beyond doubt.
Each jacket, priced $1,895 USD, is now available at ALL TOO HUMAN.
