“ARTRIUM” was founded to promote the freedom and variety of streetart.
The project’s organizers, Team Atrium and Maximilian Cooper, CEO and Founder of Gumball 3000, established an aesthetic gem to educate both Muscovites and tourists, proving that street art knows no borders – that it is ageless, timeless, free. The project centers on today’s value of street art and its power to evoke positive change to a city’s landscape and cultural habitat.

The project features iconic street artists as Shepard Fairey (USA), Felipe Pantone (Spain), Tristan Eaton (USA), WK Interact (France), Pokras Lampas (Russia), D*Face (England), Futura (USA), Ben Eine (England), and Faile (USA), who all enhance the project with their individual perceptions of Moscow and their interpretations of Russian culture.
“Our project will become an unspoken element of navigation in Moscow and will introduce locals and tourists alike to a multicultural contemporary art form. Visually and aesthetically, “Artrium” will communicate with a young and progressive audience. We also hope that the project will educate older generations about the positive power that street art wields,” says Pokras Lampas, the project’s curator and one of its participating artists.
The first phase of ARTRIUM runs from May until June with works by Felipe Pantone and Tristan Eaton. For the second round in September the organizers have invited Shepard Fairey Futura and many more interesting artists.
