The famed Blondie singer has her own fashion line with Shepard Fairey, but now, she is the muse to London-based photographer Michel Haddi, who just launched a new art book honoring the style icon. A limited-edition of 50 magazines, this collectible features a print and sexy shots of the singer, which Haddi met in a serendipitous way. “When I first moved to New York in the early 1990s in Chelsea I used to live on 22nd street and 8th avenue, did I ever know I would be living next to Debbie Harry? Never! It was a chance in a million I suppose,” he says. “We started to hang out. You are my Marilyn Monroe with a pout and that unmistakable peroxide hair. An icon. Making this book about you is definitely an act of love.”
