Who knew that Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” was much better with the addition of Franco-American actor and Beautiful Boy star Timothée Chalamet’s cherub-esque face?
A new Instagram account @ChalametInArt says in its bio that “Turns out Timothée Chalamet has been an inspiration to artists as far back as da Vinci.”
The joke account has Photoshopped famous paintings like Grant Wood’s “American Gothic,” Jan van Eyck’s “Arnolfini Portrait,” and Edward Hopper’s “Nighthawks” with the actor’s face. As if this art history lesson couldn’t complicate any further, his face also adorns paintings like our one favorite featuring Chalamet in René Magritte’s “The Son of Man,” not to mention Botticelli’s “The Birth of Venus,” and Johannes Vermeer’s “The Music Lesson.” “Lady at the Virginals with a Gentleman.”
We can’t get enough.
