You read that right. In the city of New York, where the first pizza parlour opened in 1905 with sliced priced at 5c, a new pop-up space is opening in October devoted to all things pizza. Rather than a boring-ass museum with art on the walls, it’s an experience fit for a digital-savvy generation featuring pizza beach, a pizza cave and several fun house spots to pose and celebrate pizza. Call it the Kusama-effect, part of the “made-for-Instagram” exhibits, or “selfie factories.” The Museum of Pizza is not alone in their selfie-driven takeover, but hey, it could be fun.
