Forget Tiffany’s. New York’s hottest jeweler is Rafaello & Co., who makes over-the-top bling for clients like Jay-Z (who wore an 11 pound Cuban link chain of theirs), to Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz.
Based on 47th Street, in the heart of the diamond district. Gabriel Jacobs of Rafaello & Co. says one of the most extravagant pieces is a $250k bling worn by rapper Lil Yachty, which is a battery-operated spinning globe with his name, covered in 150 carats of diamonds.
They have a bizarre collection of custom design, which ranges from diamond-encrusted Las Vegas pendants to a Big Pun necklace in white gold and a Waka Flocka pendant. The recent photo shoot by Interview magazine shows the bling in all its glitter and glam.
