‘Zero Contract’ Anthony Hopkins’ new film to be the first feature film on Vuele

Zero Contract, starring Anthony Hopkins as the founder of a tech conglomerate, will be released exclusively on new platform Vuele. By offering the film as an NFT, the feature will be protected against piracy and won’t need to go through the usual movie distribution channels.

Andy Murray NFT sells for $177,000

World famous tennis player Andy Murray is the star of a new NFT collection sold on the WENEW platform. The five-part NFT series plus the chance to play a game of tennis with Andy himself was won in an auction on Monday July 5th. WENEW sold limited edition NFT clips of Murray’s best-bits from Wimbledon 2013 and 2021.

Banksy work to be auctioned on Valuart

Banksy’s sculpture ‘Spike’ has been recreated in CGI format for release on the art-specific NFT platform Valuart on July 22nd. Valuart, which will launch on July 22nd, will have monthly auctions from noteworthy visual artists. The original ‘Spike’ artwork belongs to Vittorio Grigolo, the co-founder of Valuart.

Tim Berners-Lee – the Father of the Internet – sells WWW code as NFT

An NFT of the original source code of the World Wide Web has sold for $5.4 at Sotheby’s. Berners-Lee commented: “Three decades ago, I created something which has … been a powerful tool for humanity… NFTs, be they artworks or a digital artefact like this, are the latest playful creations in this realm, and the most appropriate means of ownership that exists. “

Playboy to release new NFT drop

Playboy have announced their third NFT drop, pairing up with SuperRare to release the ‘Miami Beach Collection’ on Decentraland. The collection is made up of five NFT artworks inspired by a photograph taken in 1970 of a Playboy Bunny skiing at the Miami Playboy mansion.

SZA releases NFT Collection

Singer SZA has released a collection of NFTs in celebration of the fourth anniversary of her album Ctrl and her recent performace ‘UNSTAGED’ for American Express. The collection includes behind-the-scenes photos and highlights from her performance.
