Alexandre Arnault of Rimowa has just taken his Instagram account Instagram to tease the luggage latest collaboration. Set for a full reveal at this year’s inaugural Frieze LA Art Fair, the suitcases are in collaboration with artist Alex Israel.
Rendered in two color graded colorways, according to Arnault, the unique aesthetic is “inspired by the skies of Alex’s hometown: LA.” One will predominantly be in a gradient sky-blue – fading to flamingo-pink, while the other color option sees the complete opposite.
Look for these to launch at the Alex Israel x Rimowa Popup happening between February 14 – 16 at Melrose/La Cienega.
