#nofilter – Home Office Outfits From Our Favourite Art Girls
Work from home, but make it #fashion
Art Girls Jungle 04 Apr 2020

Are you tempted to work in your pyjamas right now? Who isn’t! For some of us, getting up, putting on make-up and getting dressed is exactly what we need to get us in the mood to start working from our home office. While for others, the lack of physical social interaction means we can lazy about all day in front of our laptops in pjs and sweats. But what about our favourite art girls? Here’s what they’re wearing!

Camilla FarmanFarmaian, Co-Founder Nouvelle Vague Marbella @arainbowgirl

Co-founder of Spain’s Nouvelle Vague Marbella, Camilla FarmanFarmaian keeps chic in this look while at her home-office desk. The perfect look for working in her artist partner Firouz Farmanfarmaian’s studio.

“My Home office outfit is a loose skirt from Suncoo, Paris that I got from the Anthology shop close to my gallery, she can deliver during these times and keeping our spirits up, then a loose comfy Sweaty Betty top…. unfortunately my hands and knee is a bit bandaged up as on Saturday a woman managed to run into me…So I had a bit of a hard fall… how that is possible is still baffling me, I am a pretty solid person… and how happy I was about my freedom run until this point.”

“I’m dressing as I always would”, says Hazel Mead, “I often work from home anyway and have found that dressing like I’m going to work is a good thing for my mental health.”

Rebecca Anne Proctor, Arts Journalist @rebeccaanneproctor

“As much as I love to dress up, I’ve been enjoying dressing down these days, lounging around in simpler attire, jeans and a shirt, a comfy jumpsuit or long cotton dress. Working from home is about dressing for comfort and maybe, just a little style, to remind myself of my previous life!”

Daria Borisova, Curator and Art Advisor @punh

Daria Borisova keeps it cute in her ex-boyfriend’s t-shirt.

Reminding us that double-denim is always a good idea, Ferren Gipson proves that jeans are always a good idea.

The fashion-forward Lolita Cros is keeping it casual in basics and separates, though she did let us know that: “Not gonna lie, I have work out pants underneath cause it’s probably what I end up doing most of the day” (Us too Lolita!)

Nikki Meftah, Co-founder Emergeast @emergeast

Emergeast’s co-founder Nikki Meftah is keeping cosy in some knitwear while staying in.

Selena Cerami, Founder Eve Leibe Gallery @_selena_cerami

Selena

“No dress code! No rules!” exclaims Selena Cerami, “Lounge comfy wear 24/7, I still make up sometimes for a walk or a quick grocery. During the day I hop in yoga clothes for the daily routine. Online meditation and yoga sessions are a great help to keep up with my productivity and stress. I take the chance to send a huge virtual ‘Thank You’ to yogis Adriene Mishler and Deepak Chopra!”
