An Ode to Peggy Guggenheim’s Dogs
Did you know that one of her dogs was named "Hong Kong"?

We all know that Peggy Guggenheim loved dogs. Especially the breed of Lhasa Apsos.

Now, the full spectrum of the famed collector is going on view this September at the Guggenheim in Venice for the Peggy Guggenheim: The Last Dogaressa exhibit opening September 21.

This is the only museum with the curator and her pets buried in the backyard, her dogs were named everything from Cappuccino to Peacock and Hong Kong.

Of course she had a dog named… Hong Kong?!
