Art girl fave Petra Cortright has just debuted a dreamy new painting on Instagram. The copper-coloured painting was illustrated for Comme Des Garçons newest scent, aptly titled, copper!
Comme Des Garçons describe the perfume as “Fiery red metal, cool to the touch. Luminous berries atop darkened leaves…an olfactive interrogation of perceived differences and their harmonious alignment. A blend of distinct olfactive components: vivid pinks positioned against deep greens. Bright contrasts reveal new clarity.” And while you would think that might be hard to put into a painting, Petra did just that!
Petra’s painting shows a ribbon of metal twirled up on a painting, with branches of fruit floating wistfully in the background. It’s super gorgeous and we’re now itching to get our hands on the perfume, which you can buy online!
