These Renegade Women Changed Celebrity Culture
A must have for every feminist library.
Entertainment 27 Dec 2018

Illustrator Austen Claire Clements has teamed up with film critic Elizabeth Weitzman for a new book coming out by Clarkson Potter on February 5 called Renegade Women in Film & TV.
The book aims to pay tribute to the women who broke glass ceilings in film and television. With a drawing of Barbra Streisand on the cover, she is interviewed alongside Sigourney Weaver, Susan Harris, Lesley Visser, Mara Brock Akil, Patty Jenkins, Amy Poehler and Jessica Williams.

By featuring women of the past and present, Renegade Women celebrates the accomplishments of 50 extraordinary women throughout the history of entertainment – especially to overlooked pioneers like early actresses like Alla Nazimova.
