What else than a little retreat off the fair does one desire during this crazy art week in Hong Kong. It’s just day 2 and we can’t think of anything else than a green retox in an urban jungle setting.

Absolut sensed it already and commissioned Hong Kong-based artist João Vasco Paiva for their site-specific Art Bar titled “Room Service”.
The installation is on and happy to host you tired guys during the Art Basel week (and beyond until April 2) – this year as the artist’s vision of a peaceful oasis where the contemporary world and nature coincide.

Featuring a series of sculptures, projections of movie scenes along with resting nets (what a genius!) and some jungle themed items, “Room Service” is all about the concept of sanctuary.
Don’t miss the trio of Artist Cocktails (our favourite“The Fletcher” could pass as a green cleanse but in fact is made of Absolut Elyx, lemon juice, lemongrass syrup, basil leaves, yellow Chartreuse, and topped with Champagne) created by João Vasco Paiva together with an Absolut mixologist to echo the concept of a retreat.
