The famed “Frida” star Salma Hayek stars in a new art film presented at the Venice Film Festival, directed by Ralph Fiennes’sister, Martha Fiennes.
On September 2 and 3, drop by the Palazzo Grassi art museum to see a screening of “Yugen Yugen,” the film, which takes its title from the Japanese concept that ties into “aesthetics alluding to a deep awareness of the universe.”
The piece uses digital imagery, filmed landscapes and bespoke coding technology around the main character, Hayek, as the lead figure exploring an abstract world. Not to be missed if you’re in Venice for the film festival.
