She isn’t a celebrity name but her brand is. Sara Blakey is known as the founder of Spanx, the billion-dollar womenswear company that sells hip-hugging undergarments to enhance the female form. She was recently interviewed in Entrepreneur magazine, here are her golden pieces of advice for any aspiring girlboss:
Brainstorming is key: “I keep an idea book.”

Know your strengths: “Hire your weaknesses, and stay in your lane. Wake up every day with What am I good at? What am I contributing to the world?”
Schedule the shit out of the workweek: “I have a designated time each week for people who request my time or money. I’ve got a designated time, usually twice a week, to go over email. On Tuesdays, I’m mostly marketing and brand. On Thursdays, I’m all product. On Wednesdays, I meet with all the leaders. It’s not foolproof, but at least I laid down a blueprint.”
