Is the skinny jeans trend making its way out of the fashion realm? WhoWhatWear and Harper’s Bazaar, among others, have highlighted other denim alternatives to replace skinny jeans. Popular styles such as the chic cropped flare, a cool straight-leg silhouette, or boyfriend jeans are among the many styles which can push the classic skinnies forward. What do you think?
 #2  How Female Artists Reacted to Trump’s Win
For some, it was a major shock to hear Donald Trump was elected President of the United States of America last Wednesday, having won over the largest US states including Florida and Pennsylvania. Female artists thus took to Instagram to voice their reaction to this surprising win and promote action. According to Artnet, Jennifer Dalton posted an “illustrative guide to dealing with Islamophobic harassement”, which was created by illustrator Maeril. Zoe Buckman shared a white tshirt with the printed words “The Future Is Female. Fucked” announcing her attendance to the protest at New York’s Union Square.

British fashion designer recently revealed her debut menswear collection last week, taking on a more whimsical approach to traditional suiting, outwear and accessories.  #4  Dior Opens Up Inaugural Makeup “Concept Boutique”
The luxury fashion and cosmetic brand, Dior has unveiled a 650-square foot “concept boutique” in Westfield World Trade Center, designed to resemble the backstage environment of the house’s runway shows. This new store is bound to make you feel like a top model as it will feature a “lip studio” to test out Dior’s products, as well as a fragrance wall and six makeup workstations, which will offer backstage professional service and cosmetic consultations.
 #5  Pharrell Williams Opened A New Shop in New York
Singer Pharrell Williams has opened a new Billionaire Boys Club store in New York on Mercer Street designed by Daniel Arsham, which is adorned with Takashi Murakami cushions not to mention figures by KAWS. The shop features evidently Williams’ own label, Billionaire Boys Club as well as Kanye West’s Yeezy collection.
