Swatch Art Journey watches

Swiss watchmaking company Swatch, believes that art makes the world a better place. Their love for art runs deep, with their emerging and distinguished in-house artists, designers, and architects as well as their ongoing collaborations, since 1985, with celebrated museums and art institutions. With its strong bond with creative industries, Swatch truly has created a fresh way to bring art into our everyday lives.

For their latest art story collaboration, Swatch has worked together with not one but four celebrated museums and art institutions to bring seven new masterpieces to our wrists: MoMA, Magritte, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Le Gallerie Degli Uffiz. The Swatch x MOMA and Swatch x Magritte watches will become available in Swatch stores and online from March 16, followed by the collaborations with Louvre Abu Dhabi and Le Gallerie degli Uffizi on April 13.

MoMA watches

The Swatch once again teamed up with Moma, this time to honor 100 years of Roy Lichtenstein. The design comes to life with vibrant colours, Ben-Day dots, and a comic-inspired pop art style. Set to release on March 16, find out more here.

Magritte watches

The collaboration with Magritte celebrates Belgian surrealist René Magritte’s dreamlike imagery. To mark the 125-year anniversary of his birth, two watches translate his most famous paintings into wearable art. One displays the iconic “Ceci n’est pas une pipe” image, with the cheeky addition of “ceci est une Swatch” on the watch’s strap. Find out more here.

Louvre Abu Dhabi watch

This special collaboration with Louvre Abu Dhabi, celebrates the power of nature with two works in one. Hokusai’s print “The Great Wave Off Kanagawa” takes center stage on the front, and imagery from the astrolabe by Muhammad ibn Ahmad Al-Battûtî decorates the underside. Find out more here.

LE GALLERIE DEGLI UFFIZI watches

The Gallerie Uffizi collaboration captures ethereal Renaissance romance with two of Botticelli’s masterpieces, “Birth of Venus” and “Allegory of Spring.” Find out more here.
