Tate Behemoth

While Boilet House and Turbine Hall got over 5 million visitors passed through last year, The new Switch House extension with an 10-story twisted concrete pyramid, designed by the Swiss firm of Herzog & de Meuron, is giving the Tate extra 225,000 square feet space with 800 works by over 300 artists displayed. Dubbed “the world’s first museum galleries permanently dedicated to live art”, shall we say that’s a gigantic behemoth?
