Da Vinci Of Debt Is World’s Most Expensive Artwork
You may have thought the Salvator Mundi was the world’s most expensive piece of art, but think again! An installation by Natural Light called Da Vinci of Debt at New York’s Grand Central has stolen that accolade. A comment on student debts, the artwork comprises 2,600 real college diplomas valued at around $180,000 each, meaning the work is valued at $470 million, $20 million more than Da Vinci’s Salvator Mundi.
