Jenny Holzer has created arty condoms which you can get your hands on through an affordable (just €200) curated art box titled Much.More.Shit. put together by Creator Projects. Holzer’s ten condom packaging designs each include a piece of text from poetry by Walt Whitman. You can get your hands on them here

Olympic Museum Opens In Athens

The postponement of the Olympic Games last year left a lot of us feeling dejected. The plans for the opening of the Olympic Museum in Athens for 2020 were also pushed back, but it is now open to the public. The museum encompasses sports memorabilia from countries across the globe as well as presentations on the history of Ancient Olympia.

Turner Prize Nominates Collectives Only

The Turner Prize is perhaps Britain’s most important art prize and this year, the nominees are all collectives! A Metaverse Runway Is On The Horizon

The IMVU network – a platform where users create avatars and dress them in clothes paid for with real money – is hosting a virtual fashion show with IG star Princess Golum on May 27 and 28. The metaverse’s runway show will include real-life labels like Mimi Wade, Collina Strada and Mowalola.

Sotheby’s Has Opened A Boutique

I mean, why not?! The Sotheby’s store, or “Emporium” as they’re calling it, has just opened in NYC. The permanent retail store offers luxury items from jewels and art to collectible handbags, sneakers and even cars!

CryptoPunks NFT Portraits Sell For $$$

Pixelated portraits? Who knew?! The CryptoPunks platform created some of the first NFTs ever to be seen on the Ethereum blockchain, and as a result, they’ve just sold for over $16 million at Christie’s. These pixelated portraits were actually given away for FREE back in 2017 and we’re sure the original owners of these NFTs are very happy!

Leonardo Drawing Set To Make Millions

It is often said that drawings are the closest thing to an artist’s hand. Now, a rare drawing of a bear by Leonard Da Vinci is set to hit the auction block at Christie’s in London and it’s expected to reach up to £12 million. The work is believed to have been made around 1480 and is one of only eight known Da Vinci drawings in private hands. The auction takes place at Christie’s on 8 July.
