Takashi Murakami and Daniel Arsham Works Up For Grabs In Paris Scavenger Hunt
Always wanted to own a Takashi Murakami? Don’t have the $$? Well, here’s an opportunity for you! Murakami – along with 19 other artists – will be hiding artworks around Paris’s Grand Palais between October 24 and 25. Wanted is a project run by Perrotin Gallery and Grand Palais and if you are the lucky one to find one of these artworks, you get to keep it for free! Bear in mind however, that in compliance with Covid-19 restrictions, the scavenger hunt will take place in 50-minute time slots with a maximum of 500 people per session.
New Banksy Pops Up In Nottingham
A new piece of street art by the ever-elusive Banksy has popped up in Nottingham, UK. The piece depicts a girl playing with a tyre instead of a hula hoop. The work is situated right next to a bike with its rear wheel missing that is tied to a lamppost.
Berlin Museums Attacked With Oil
70 artworks had oil poured over them on October 3 in an attack that took place across several Berlin museums in broad daylight. The affected museums are the Alte Nationalgalerie, the Neues Museum and the Pergamon Museum. The vandals are unknown and we’re all just hoping the art and antiquities are ok!
Marine Serre To Drop Shades With Gentle Monster
Alongside her 2021 lookbook Marine Serre showed off some pretty cool shades which were designed by uber-cool brand Gentle Monster. Two pairs of frames called Visionize I and Visionize II are rumored to drop next Spring.

In May Damien Hirst launched a contest allowing fans to win his own t-shirts (signed and framed), and now one of those is up for sale on eBay! Unfortunately though, it’s not cheap. The t-shirt is priced at £250,000 and the auction will run until October 31.
Beastie Boys Selling Mother’s Mega Art Collection
Mike D of the Beastie Boys is the son of a major art collector and he is now selling his mom’s collection via Sotheby’s. Hester Diamond’s art collection is said to be worth $30 million and will be auctioned online in January 2021.
A New Art Fair Is Set To Open In Palm Beach
Just when we thought art fairs were a thing of the past, a new one pops up! Private Art Fair is launching in February 2021 thanks to David and LeeAnn Lester, who have been running the Palm Beach Show for two decades. The fair will be held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center and will be covid safe, with around 300 visitors at a time.
