Archaeologists Discover Fast Food Bar In Pompeii
Fast food has been around through the ages it seems! An ancient snack bar has been discovered at Pompeii’s Regio V site. It’s pretty beautiful too, featuring hand painted frescoes, which we’re sure could serve as design inspo for our favourite fast food joints!
New Book Pays Homage To Work Of Christo And Jean-Claude
We sadly said goodbye to Christo earlier this year, but the artwork he produced with his partner Jean-Claude will live on forever. A new book by Taschen highlights all of the couple’s most iconic works, from wrapping the Reichstag in fabric, to the Mastaba at London’s Serpentine. You can buy the book online now.

RIP Pierre Cardin
It is with great sadness that we report the death of legendary fashion designer Pierre Cardin. The designer passed away at the age of 98 this week and is famous for his work with Dior, before founding his own house in 1950, dressing all the greats, including a certain Salvador Dali.
Loewe Collabs With Totoro
Loewe is set to drop a new collection with My Neighbour Totoro this January and we can’t wait! Word has it that the collaboration will include bags, clothes and accessories, which you can access from January 8.
Daniel Arsham Customises Air Jordans With Dior
Art girl fave Daniel Arsham has just posted a pair of customised Nike Air Jordans, with a little help from Mr Kim Jones at Dior. The eroded – of course – sneakers, were inspired by the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi, an embracing of the flawed or imperfect. The shoes were a collaboration with @philllllthy on Instagram.
Gucci Releases Doraemon Capsule Collection
In celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year Gucci has released a Doraemon capsule collection. 2021 will be the year of the Ox, and the collection will include dozens of items covered in the classic GG monogram pattern and a mix of Doraemon motifs. The collection is available to buy online now!
