Women Artists Of Colour Create Video Work In Honour Of Kamala Harris Inauguration
Kamala Harris is officially Vice President of the USA! In honour of her historic inauguration, seven women artists of colour have come together to make When We Gather, a video inspired by Yoruba religious rituals that shows women of all ethnicities and ages dancing around the White House in Suffragist white. Museum Of London Acquires Trump Baby Balloon
In 2018 a giant balloon of Donald Trump made by artist Matthew Bonner wearing a diaper – or as we Brits say, a nappy – was paraded around London in protest of the President’s visit to the United Kingdom. And now it has found a place in the Museum of London, finding a home in the museum’s collection of protest art.
Highsnobiety Curates Augmented Reality Art Show
Anika Meier has just curated an immersive AR group show with Highsnobiety called BERLIN, AUGMENTED BERLIN. Visitors are invited to use a smartphone or tablet to place eight sculptures by Berlin artists in public spaces or within their own four walls. The AR show is part of BERLIN, BERLIN, a weekend-long virtual celebration of the city curated by Highsnobiety. From January 22 to 24, there will be a lineup of exclusive content from some of Berlin’s best artists, designers, musicians, and photographers.
Italian Museum Becomes Vaccination Centre
Turin’s Castello di Rivoli is set to become a public vaccination center this Spring. And get this, its public programme will still be open while people get their shots. Those waiting for their vaccines can also expect to listen to audio work which Claudia Comte is especially making for those waiting to be vaccinated.

Dior Mens Collabs With Peter Doig
Dior Mens will be collaborating with artist Peter Doig for its Fall/Winter 2021 collection. The show’s invitation is a painting made by Doig of Christian Dior in an outfit designed and made by Pierre Cardin for a masked ball in 1949 and we are super excited to see the show, which runs online via Dior on Friday January 22.

Rejected Tin Tin Cover Sells For Over €3 Million
Last week a rejected – because it was too expensive to mass produce – cover of the Tin Tin story Blue Lotus by Belgian cartoonist Hergé appeared for the first time on the market, going under the hammer via Parisian auction house Artcurial and selling for a whopping 3,175,400€ including premium.
