Cardi B, George Condo And David Hockney Auction Art To Benefit The Families Of Black Women Killed By The Police
Artists of all descriptions are donating works to an auction and exhibition supporting Black women killed by the police, with proceeds going to the AAPF. Show Me the Signs includes work by such diverse names as Billie Eilish, Marilyn Minter and George Condo. The auction will run via Artfizz in two parts between November 10 and November 30, with viewings happening at LA’s Blum & Poe.
Ansel Adams To Fetch Big $$$ At Sotheby’s
A seven decade spanning auction of Ansel Adams’ photographs is scheduled to be auctioned by Sotheby’s next month. The sale includes over 100 photographs and is expected to reach around $6 million.
Ed Sheeran Is Selling His Artwork
If you didn’t know Ed Sheeran is an artist, you do now! The singer has donated a painting titled Jackson Pollocky – as well as handwritten song lyrics and his childhood Lego collection – to the Made in Suffolk Legacy Auction held by the GeeWizz Charitable Foundation which will benefit children and adults with life-threatening illnesses in Suffolk and Norfolk. The auction runs online until November 8.
