Your favourite spot in Milan to dream away?
Parco Sempione, where I can enjoy the nature around me and take a break from the stressful rhythms of the city. The relationship with the natural environment has always been very important in my life and since I moved from Sicily to Milan, I have used this place to disconnect from daily routine and recharge energies. The second location is my studio, where actually dreams and ideas start taking shape.

What is your dream about the creative world of the future?
I hope we will learn how to use technology to make our lives easier: we can work altogether to live in a better place. And from an art perspective, I expect a world with chances for young artists and more interaction with established ones (we have a lovely project coming this winter at Christie’s Italy… stay tuned!).

Sara Nicolosi & Cinzia De Lauri / Creative Chefs & Founders Altatto

Some advice how to keep on following our dreams?
We share a great friendship and one common goal. Passion and creativity are our strengths.

Licia Florio & Francesco Francio Ferrari / Creators & Entrepreneurs

What is your dream about the creative world of the future?
That creativity is widespread and shared in all environments and considered to be an act of value. Creativity is a form of evolution and improvement.

Maria Cristina Didero / Design Professional & Independent Curator

What is your favourite spot in Milan to dream away?
For me without doubt it would be Torre Velasca…

Sebastian Cabrices / Fashion & Culture Journalist

What is your favourite spot in Milan to dream away?
Randomly, Marchesi at Via Meravigli. I love facing the Palazzo Imperiale di Massimiliano. It’s great for thinking.

Alek O. / Artist

Some advice how to keep on following our dreams?
To dream is a spontaneous action. It simply happens when your mind is in a certain state. To realize your dreams can be difficult, long, and frustrating… but if you manage to get joy from that process, it’s done.

About The Art of Dreams:
Porsche is shining a spotlight on art: the sports car manufacturer is offering artists new channels to showcase their work to a wider audience through The Art of Dreams. Designed as a series of interactive art installations in cities, The Art of Dreams features work that deals with the topic of dreams from different perspectives.

Above interview is published on the occasion of Porsche’s debut appearance at Milan Design Week as part of the brand’s series of immersive art interventions »The Art of Dreams«. A commissioned work by Studio Mary Lennox comes to life along with choreographed performances at Palazzo Clerici in the heart of Milano’s Brera from June 6th – June 12th, 2022.
