As the dawn of the Year of the Water Rabbit awakens with Spring, several international brands have released special collections to celebrate the new year. From Starbuck’s range of rabbit-themed mugs to SK-II’s special-edition PITERA Facial Treatment Essence x White Rabbit bottle – brands are hopping on the chance to market to Asian audiences.

Gucci

Gucci unveiled a campaign echoing the joyful mood of the occasion. The collection is an eclectic mix of color, print, and details across their Ready-to-Wear collection, bags, shoes, and accessories. The campaign shot by Max Siedentopf searches for the rabbit following friends into a field full of spring flowers.

Loewe is marking the Year of the Rabbit with a new twist on its iconic ‘bunny bag’, as well as a contemporary ready-to-wear collection, charms, and limited-edition candles. 

Moschino

Italian fashion house Moschino celebrates with a capsule collection featuring Warner Bros.’ Bugs Bunny. The beloved cartoon character stars in the brand’s 23-item capsule collection.

Mulberry

Brands Hop Into the Year of the Rabbit With Products and Rituals – WWD

Mulberry collaborated with the Dutch bunny Miffy on a capsule collection featuring bags and accessories in Miffy’s signature colours. Mulberry brought the collection to life with a campaign that features models against the backdrop of the Shanghai iconic skyline.

Self Portrait has enlisted the British-Chinese photographer Alexandra Leese on capturing the brand’s CNY-inspired new collection, which highlights the importance of community and unity. The garments that span generations take inspiration from the traditional Chinese dress – the cheongsam, also known as qipao.
