Also this weekend we have wandered around the NFT marketplaces and picked a few of our favourites just for you.
Are you dropping a NFT yourself or know a cool friend who does? Great! Send an email to [email protected] for next weeks NFT Happy Hour.
1. Post-human Dog: Sophy by Damjanski
Self proclaimed “Living in a browser” artist and creator Damjanski is not a new name in the art x tech scene but just released his first NFT with Foundation.
Portraits of dogs and their owners taken with his Bye Bye Camera in NYC at the start of the pandemic 2020. The app uses neural networks to erase humans from the picture but keeps human traces as well as dogs.
2. Walk from The West by Wyne Veen
Dutch artist Wyne Veen works with digital pieces since 2006. Her cowboy lady followed by supercute tiny horses caught our attention
3. To celebrate its recent launch, the house is presenting two extremely rare assets in a single auction along with NFTs that will legally certify ownership on-chain. The new auction, which begins April 9 at 5 p.m. EST, will include a Magic: The Gathering card paired with a highly sought-after Rolex Daytona watch.
4. They Are Coming by Vanessa Beecraft
With “They Are coming” artist Vanessa Beecraft entered the NFT space with a unique piece.
Coming along with a reserved price of 17,54 ETH (approx 37.000 USD), this is not exactly a bargain and we are excited to follow whether someone will snap it away.
5. Pak and Sothebys
Pak and Sothebys team up for a special collaboration on the Nifty Gateway platform. One of the pieces being dropped is Equilibrium, a “four-of-four” where each edition will be sent to the winner of specific criteria. Pak is an omniscient designer/developer/wizard, one of the leads of the design scene as the founder of Undream and one of the prominent social media figures as the creator of Archillect, the synthetic curator. Pak is currently at uncharted space experimenting with new forms of creation and communication, discovering, learning and teaching along the journey.
