Shannon sat down with The New York Times for her first interview, to share her ideas. “It belongs to me, it belongs to his children,” she commented on his legacy. Last May, Ms. Abloh created Virgil Abloh Securities to unite his creative ventures; which she is chief executive of. This week, she will introduce a four-day festival during Miami Art Week that is designed to celebrate his life and open-source his ideas.
