The past week was a busy one for the art and fashion world, from the Venice Film Festival to the Berlin Biennale (and don’t forget NYFW!). By now you’ve probably flipped through all the red carpet slideshows, read too many film reviews to count and studiously analyzed all the trends cropping up on runways, and maybe more importantly, off the streets. While you were busy pondering whether you could really pull off green and pink polka-dot flare pants, we threw together a little round-up of more low-key art world moments that might have slipped through the cracks. Our weekly treat.

Feast your eyes on these stunning shots because there’s more where that came from: now through October 29, you can see giants of modern photography, Cindy Sherman and Richard Prince, at Oslo’s Astrup Fernley Museum.
This Utagawa Kunisada woodcut perfectly captures our Friday feels… and our Monday feels, for that matter.
In case you missed it, here’s a little teaser of some highlights from the Berlin Biennale.
