High & Low: The Rise and Fall of John Galliano

Add “High & Low – John Galliano” to your watch list, in cinemas March 8th. Academy Award winner Kevin Macdonald presents a gripping documentary on the rise and fall of fashion icon John Galliano. Featuring interviews with Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Anna Wintour, and others, the film traces Galliano’s turbulent career from the heights of 1990s and 2000s couture to its abrupt end in 2011.

Sculpting Emotion: Mire Lee’s Hyundai Commission at Tate Modern

South Korean artist, Mire Lee will be the next Hyundai Commission artist at Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall. Her site-specific work will debut on October 8, 2024, running until March 16, 2025. Lee is known for her visceral sculptures which use kinetic, mechanized elements to invoke the tension between soft forms and rigid systems. Karin Hindsbo, the director at Tate Modern commented: ‘Mire Lee is one of today’s most intriguing and original contemporary artists, and we are delighted she will be creating her first work in the U.K here at Tate Modern.’

A Collaboration with Pharrell & Tyler The Creator

Louis Vuitton debuts the Men’s Spring 2024 Capsule Collection, crafted under the creative vision of Men’s Creative Director Pharrell and multi-disciplinary artist Tyler The Creator. Set to launch on March 21st. Tyler commented his on Instagram: ‘hand drawn craggy monogram. chess board is my favorite thing ive made. thank you @pharrell i love you, you keep throwing me the keys. the @louisvuitton team thank yall for allowing these ideas come to life.’

Eno’s Turntable II: A Fusion of Art and Music

Musician and artist Brian Eno unveils a new edition of a uniquely designed turntable doubling as an artwork. With a round base mirroring the platter’s shape, the turntable illuminates in various colors independently, crafting what Eno terms “generative ‘colorscapes.’” Following the success of the first edition in 2021, which influenced U2’s stage set in Las Vegas, Turntable II is now available for $25,000 at London’s Paul Stolper Gallery, with only 150 units worldwide.
