📣 Echo Soho: Female-led Boutique Art Fair
Mark your Frieze Week diaries: Echo Soho is coming this October. The brainchild of gallery owner India Rose James, this boutique fair champions female-led galleries and is set to take over Soho London from 16–19 October. With only 12 exhibitors and a mythologically-inspired ethos (think Echo the nymph), it promises to make a lot of noise, and we’re so here for it.
🌀 Cosmic Paints & Pop Stardom
Yes, that Ed Sheeran. Following in Adrien Brody’s celeb brushstrokes, Ed’s debut show Cosmic Carpark Paintings opens at Heni Gallery in Soho this week. Encouraged by his pal Damien Hirst, Ed describes the work as “Jackson Pollock with colourful house paint”… Proceeds go to his foundation to support the arts, so we’ll allow it. Pop by from now until 1 August. Prints and merch available, obviously.
