New prominent contemporary art museum to open in London

An application for planning has been formally lodged, marking a significant stride towards the creation of what is being referred to as a ‘prominent contemporary art museum’ at Marble Arch. Moco Museum wants to take over a sprawling 1920s building opposite Marble Arch for its third European gallery. Envisioned across three expansive levels, this prospective institution aims to showcase an array of artistic marvels by acclaimed creators including Kaws, Yayoi Kusama, and Banksy.

A sneak peek from the influential director’s Instagram has unveiled the essence of Sophia Coppola’s upcoming book, set to be released in September by Mack Books. Titled “Archive,” this debut literary work offers an immersive retrospective of Coppola’s remarkable cinematic journey.
