For more than four decades, Chatchaiâs practice has evolved into a profound exploration of identity, memory, and perception. His art combines precise observation with deep personal reflection, forming a body of work that continues to resonate within global conversations on contemporary art and influence artists across Asia and beyond.

Audeum Audio Museum has become the first institution in South Korea to receive the Special Prize for an Interior in the Worldâs Most Beautiful Museums category at the Prix Versailles, following the awards ceremony in Paris last week. Opened in June 2024, the museum was shortlisted among seven global finalists, with the jury praising its balance of aesthetic ambition and functional design. We are keen to visit the permanent exhibition, Jung Eum: In Search of Sound, a contemplative exploration of âgood soundâ (jung eum) through Audeumâs collection. Centred on high fidelity (hi-fi), the show reflects on faithful sound reproduction and invites visitors to slow down and listen.
