British artist Anish Kapoor is famed in Chicago for his mirrored beam sculpture called Cloud Gate.
But besides the tourists, the National Rifle Association have used it as part of film footage in their latest advertisement released in March and since Kapoor complained, the NRA haven’t complied and Kapoor is suing them for copyright infringement. Kapoor said the ad is full of “fear and hate” and “regressive attitudes” and is requesting the ad be pulled.
Let’s see if that happens, the plot continues.
