Kim K Hired the Most Extra Copywriter for Her Valentines Scents
Ready to smell like a "Wifey"?

Ask anyone in fashion and they’ll tell you selling perfume is never easy. That is, unless you’re Kim Kardashian, who has hired one extravagant copywriter to describe each new scent she is selling for Valentines Day, her Kimoji hearts: Baby Girl, Baddie, and Wifey are new scents that will be joining original scents Bae, BFF and Ride or Die.
The description for the Bae scent is: “A truly decadent scent offering a sparkling opening of juicy mandarin and mouth-watering kiwi leads you to a flirty floral heart comprised of jasmine Sambac and gardenia blossom… supported by ribbons of whipped vanilla and velvet sandalwood.” (There’s so much going on, we can’t pin it down).

Or what about the description for Baby Girl? It’s described as “a sultry, yet flirtatious floral citrus fragrance that glimmers with a magnetic charm.” Really? “Bright citruses and succulent fruits introduce a heart of plush, playful florals. The heart blooms with a re-imagined vivacious floral citrus that is comprised of blushing peony, jasmine, and muguet – keeping the signature cheeky and carefree. Drifting into a haze of feather-light musks, exotic vetiver is enveloped in sensuous amber crystals for an irresistible finish.”

Or the description for the BFF scent, which is said to be: “A delicious fragrance offering playful notes of wild berries and crisp star apple – a bouquet of pink rose petals and pear blossom highlight the heart while fluffy notes of vanilla marshmallow and cedar wood contours the finish.”
Forget Hallmark, that’s poetry in itself. That writer should be writing raps for Kanye.

But on the note of fashion and beauty copywriting, it’s funny because Kardashian has been selling perfume since 2010, when she dressed in a poodle jacket and promoted her first scent collab with Sephora. It’s funny because Kim has always said ‘follow your heart.’ She also has the ambition to match, having said this: ““My mom and I had the same vision, and we want the same things,” said Kardashian. “We would always make a goal list every year.”
